Cherrelle Davis, LMFT, CEDS (She/Her) Owner & Therapist

A therapist at heart, Cherrelle has been in the field of mental health since 2010. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Graduate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University. She began her career conducting research on children’s memory and very quickly immersed herself in working with children with developmental disabilities. While working with children, Cherrelle found appreciation for the impact of childhood experiences on adult development. She is invested in helping people make meaning out of their experiences and the world around them.

Cherrelle primarily works with people of color, couples, and individuals with eating disorders. Before entering private practice in 2019, she served as the Associate Clinical Director of a residential treatment facility for people with eating disorders. She held that role while simultaneously serving as interim Clinical Director for nearly a year. While accustomed to the fast pace of hospital settings, she also embodies the ability to help clients slow down and prioritize the needs in their own life. Treating people with eating disorders, and in particular people of color with eating disorders, is her passion. Cherrelle is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, signifying more than 5,000 hours of clinical work with people with eating disorders. She is an International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) approved Certified Eating Disorder Consultant and the President of the NC Chapter of IAEDP.

Additionally, Cherrelle is an approved supervisor candidate by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She enjoys offering supervision to clinicians in training as well as consultation with colleagues. She is a sought-after presenter and enjoys educating people on various mental health topics.

Personally, Cherrelle enjoys traveling with her family, trying new foods, and all things adventurous. She is married and has two daughters. Clients describe her as pragmatic and personable. She describes herself as both gentle and firm. Cherrelle views therapy as an opportunity to become our best selves and have fun along the way.

Keisha Hines, LCMHCA (She/ Her) Therapist Associate

Keisha Hines is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Associate and a nationally certified counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Human Services from Point University. Keisha also holds a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. Her love for the healing process and desire to see more BIPOC clinicians led her to the field of counseling. Keisha has worked as a clinical mental health therapist in private practice and non-profit settings, supporting her clients’ progress toward meeting their psychological and emotional wellness goals. She is passionate about working with individuals who have not traditionally had or sought access to therapeutic services. She utilizes ACT, client-centered, narrative, and emotionally focused therapy to serve her clients. Her clients appreciate her warm, empathic presence. Keisha likes working with adults, groups, and couples around a variety of issues including; depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, gender issues, relational issues, and issues surrounding racial identity.

Keisha’s hobbies include traveling, walking, listening to live music, and trying new foods.

Ariel Rogers, LMFT (She/ Her) Therapist Associate

In her pursuit to serve people in their ability to cope in times of hardship, transitional periods, and problem-solving life’s many nuanced experiences, Ariel found herself pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She attended Pfeiffer University where she was able to assist individuals, couples, and families to explore how their dynamic of engagement with self and others related to their most pressing issues. She also facilitated groups for anxiety management and received an additional certification in premarital counseling. Ariel works from a collaborative therapeutic approach based on helping clients use their own strengths to create congruence in their lives. Because everyone is different, Ariel uses a combination of Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and CBT to best assist clients in reaching their therapeutic goals. It is important for you to know that Ariel believes therapy should be a safe environment that allows people to feel comfortable enough to share themselves authentically. Clients describe Ariel as authentic, warm, insightful, and firm. In her spare time, Ariel enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her husband and dog.

Rochelle Hise (She/ Her) Therapist Associate

Rochelle received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. She continued her education at Pfeiffer University, earning her master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy. She has encountered various clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, phase of life transitions, faith/spirituality, gender/sexual identity, and relationship difficulties. Rochelle uses a collaborative approach by working together with clients to develop mutual goals. She also utilizes a combination of Narrative Therapy, CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy techniques.

Outside of therapy, Rochelle enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and relaxing outdoors. Clients describe her as warm and empathetic. Rochelle views therapy as a great way to help individuals feel empowered in their lives and hopes to leave a positive lasting impact on the people she comes across.

Megan Proctor, LCMHC (She/ Her) Therapist Associate

Megan earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She continued her education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before working with families and treating individuals with eating disorders, Megan administered child-centered play therapy to children dealing with trauma. She also served adults and adolescents struggling with substance abuse and other co-occurring mental health disorders. She has treated clients in the inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys being with her family and friends, traveling, and getting lost in a good book. Clients have described Megan as warm, knowledgeable, and understanding. She views therapy as an introspective opportunity to tap into our authentic, best selves.
